Remembering Serena

Discussions of new films, books, television shows, and media indirectly related to magic and magicians. For example, there may be a book on mnemonics or theatrical technique we should know or at least know about.

Sorry to take this blanket approach, but it saves having to send a lot of individual emails.

For those who have asked - yes, my novel about a magician, Remembering Serena, is now available from Cafe Press.

You can order it here

I have read this and can say it's not only an excellent book but also of interest to magicians generally. Misdirection, control, audience manipulation are all featured and are all important to the plot.

It reads like a screenplay, you can see it as you read it thanks to Dom's excellent descriptions.

I gave it to my girlfriend who couldn't put it down and was really moved.

It's a great book. Buy it, get people in magic magazines to review it. Buy two copies as you will lend it to a friend cos you like it so much and he in turn will enjoy it so much he won't give it back, so if you buy two now, you will be saving yourlsef a lot of heartache in the long run.
