The Zip Pen as a PW tool has been discussed for close to a year now on other message boards. One enterprising fellow even re-marketed them (slightly modified) as such last January.

For some excellent information on PW take a look at John Riggs's DVD "Secret Writings", not to mention his own "technicolor" PW tools.
