Don't laugh again:
Did you know that "Variations" was translated in French about 15 years ago and still avaible (+/-40$.
If you don't read French, that's maybe an excellent occasion to learn it (I have learned English only in the books of R. Kaufman and S. Minch. Tanks a lot dear English teachers).

It is my recollection, based on a Magic Talk thread some months ago to which Earl Nelson contributed, that the French language version of "Variations" is unauthorized.

If so, I would not encourage anyone to purchase this rip-off.

Thomas, I wish I knew French. It would probably be of more use than my Russian, what a waste of time that turned out to be! Thanks anyway

I want to make clear that I have no connection with either the translator and/or the publisher of the Franch edition of "Variations".
