Yahoo! Mr. Jennings Takes it Easy Has Shipped!
I am THRILLED to announce that Mr. Jennings Takes it Easy is now shipping from our warehouse in Michigan. It will take several weeks to reach you by Media Mail; those who paid extra for Priority Mail will receive it more quickly.
Orders being shipped outside the USA must get shipped to a private mailing company in New Jersey before going overseas.
Thanks so much for your patience and I hope you enjoy the book when you receive it in the next few weeks.
If you haven't ordered yet, you can do so here: www.richardkaufman.com

UPS plans to get my copy to the local USPS distribution center on Monday. Then the fun begins.
At my ridiculously advanced age, I'm very seldom excited for a magic release, but I'm really looking forward to The Silver Anniversary Edition of Mr Jennings Takes It Easy.

Guess who showed up today?!?!
Just what I need ... Mr. Jennings on my doorstep. I needed a cheer up - yesterday I received my 2nd Moderna vaccine and today I am feeling terrible. So I needed this! Now I need to go to bed, cover up with blankets and start to read!
Looks great Richard!!

I just made an account to let you know that the book arrived in Boone, North Carolina. For what it is worth I am getting back into magic after about a decade away (grad school, academia, & young kids took all my free time!) and was excited to find out about this book as a way to relearn.

Waiting for the mail man has never been so painful...
Funny seeing that story here (Moderna). Got my second pfizer yesterday and feeling the side effects today. Wish I had a copy of the book to go through as well right about now

Book made it to Florida. It makes for a darned fine Passover/Easter present.
My wife just informed me you don't get presents for Passover. Well . . . I did and I'm overjoyed.

Pardon me for adding an entry to the tedious Mr Jennings Has Arrived thread, but he made it to the Chicago suburbs today. I’m thrilled.
Oh - I’ve received so many poorly packed packages recently, it was nice to get something well suited for the rigors of travel.
Nothing quite like the thrill of a new Kaufman book.

Thanks--the news is not tedious to me! After so many years, and the catastrophe of the books getting lost at sea, hearing that people are receiving the book gives me great relief.

Hi Richard,
First of all, amazing book so far, only in chapter 2, but loving every bit so far!
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to ensuring this type of quality content exists for the rest of us.
I was wondering, is there an official process to submit errors for a second edition, etc? (Not trying to scare you, only noticed a missing figure so far).

Still awaiting my copy in the sticks of central Georgia. According to tracking its been sitting at a USPS regional facility since 2 April. I've submitted a form to USPS, so they'll probably be back to me in a month or three!
Re: Yahoo! Mr. Jennings Takes it Easy Has Shipped!
If that’s the case, who knows when the book will appear on foreign shores...

Indeed you did
By the way, wanted to take this chance to say thank you for all your efforts with conjuring archive. I use your site multiple times daily!
Are you the only person going through all the books and adding the content to the site?

Thanks Marco. It is not easy to find contributors for the site. Two thirds of the content were added by myself, the rest mostly by Lorenz Schär, and also by Harapan Ong. While more people started, so far no one else exceeded a thousand entries yet.
The impressively big new Jennings book will take a little while to add, but it is a well-organized book and those are actually a pleasure to add.

Re: Yahoo! Mr. Jennings Takes it Easy Has Shipped!
From the depths of the sea to the depths of despair: The journey of Mr. Jennings continue!
My copy of the Jennings book arrived at an Atlanta USPS distribution center on 2 April and sat there "pending acceptance" until yesterday when it boarded a plane for Memphis, TN. It arrived in Memphis at 8:01 pm, then boarded an Atlanta-bound flight at 1:46 am this morning. It is currently listed as "in transit to the destination." To add context, I live an hour or so south of Atlanta, so the trip to Memphis makes no apparent sense. Check that, it makes no sense at all.
At this rate, and with any luck, my copy should arrive at some point in early 2022!
