I am trying to track down a David Regal card trick. I read about it somewhere but haven't come across it in his books yet.
The trick ends with about 100 audience members all waving the selected card at the spectator who chose that card. So it is one of those card tricks that ends with an unexpected grand finish.
Does this ring any bells with anyone?
Cheers!

Sounds to me like the method should be obvious and no need to track it down.
A little pre-show prep and “ force the issue” should do it, no?

Well, certainly a bell rang in my mind...
It looks like the stage gag in which the magician shows the selected card to the entire audience behind the "victim" so that everybody know it.
The magician ask the "victim" to transmit the identity of the card to everybody with his mind...

See Hugard's Magic Monthly, Vol. 5, no. 2, juillet 1947, page 331, The Little Wonder Thought Projector by Clayton Rawson;
Let you discover what kind of "projector" Rawson used ...

The Rawson trick was reprinted in (1963?) How to Entertain Children with Magic You Can Do by The Great Merlini (Rawson).
