hi in Genii 1955 October is a article talking about the Wacker Hotel, of chicago. Was the hotel of okito and houdili lives, knowbody can check is there are more magicians living in the hotel in chicago at that years?

Rufus Steele lived there until his death in Sept 1955.

The Chicago Architecture website refers to it as a "former flophouse ... pretty nice when it first opened in the 1920s, but it went downhill as the neighborhood changed from residential to commercial to industrial."
It was completely rebuilt on the inside 8 or 9 years ago & is now the Hotel Felix.
