goldfish magic

In an upcoming theatre show I intend to do some kind of version on the goldfish catching trick.

I have studied Billy McCombs 25 years wiser, which has an excellent section on this. However, this book gives the nuts and bolts but doesn't really go into great details. the theory is all there but if anyone has any further info it would be greatly appreciated.

I plan to do a goldfish catch with a rod, and then use the net from the mccomb book.

Any help with props or gimmick suppliers...or advice on construction.
