Agreed that only using real kool-aid from one packet would not likely get plausible coloring in each container. It's just that milk in a pitcher is less common these days. People can relate to mixed drinks, scotch, tea, lemonade and kool-aid in those containers.

Wine is not usually a pitcher or shotglass item. Remaking the glasses to appear more like wine glasses with stems - and adding a bottleneck to the largest (pitcher) would be no small effort but ... perhaps there's a market?

There are health products that come in powdered form and make almost opaque drinks. And for the edgy or Halloween show - fake blood? :D

Not if you know how to add red food coloring to the mix as you pour. It's an easy way to solve the problem.
As for changing the shape of wine glasses - it's already been done: https://www.amazon.com/Glasses-Modern-E ... B07XD31J5B

This points out the difference between magicians who have to buy all their props ready-made from a magic store, and those magicians who can make their own props from scratch.

This is where we are at with our prototype - we are still trying to find a better shape for the third glass plus the pitcher definitely will have to be engraved as it turns out water isn't actually as transparent as you think/hope it is.

It's a slight twist from the normal routine in that once the pitcher is full you then refill all the glasses and you can hand a couple of the glasses out to the audience to drink from. There's also some adjustments to the gimmicks so that it has better angles and will survive being performed on TV

With regards to liquids - there's no getting away from the fact that milk is basically the perfect liquid to use. Kool aid / concentrate / Squash all have high food colouring levels and over time that causes staining although cloudy orange juice can be quite effective if you get the brand with bits in. For one off shows where you can get the kit into soapy water fast it would be fine using food colouring based products but long term use with coloured juice drinks your props will start to get tinted & milk will always be more practical.
