I just upload this video, recorder from greek tv decades ago. A great silent stage act, great timing and naturalness. Do anyone knows who this magician is? this is the only one video I ever seen him!

He shouldn't be too difficult to pin down because of the use of the yo-yos.

The only reference I could find to someone doing a manipulative act with giant yo-yos was a Stanley Marelle, a British performer in the 1930s. Could not find a picture of him though to compare.
What year do you think that show aired?

Re: Great stage manipulator. Does anyone know who he is?
Ι recorded it from TV at the 80's but I think its from the seventies. If you watch my other videos in youtube, all they are from the same magic festival. But where this festival took place? I don't have a clue! The only magician that I recognise is Norm Nielsen.
I always wanted to know who this magician is because he is extremely good, but completely unknown! Or for me at least... Maybe he stoped performing? Always had this question, i hope now that I uploaded his video someone he will recognise him and the mystery will be solved!
Best regards

An Ulf Agdur from Sweden did something with yo yos at the 1976 FISM. Could not find a picture of him yet either.

Another possible candidate. RUDI HAVER, from Austria at the 1979 FISM.
Description of his act from Genii August, 1979:
RUDI HAVER, from Austria, led off in the manipulative category. His "pod" was a white pillar center stage and he performed cards, thimbles, coins and more cards. His act was very clever because at the most unexpected times he would produce a Yo Yo. His hands were very large and graceful and this is definitely a good and commercial routine.

On Facebook, Bojan Barisic said: It is Rudolf (Rudi) Heuer from Vienna. He won 3rd place on FISM 1976.

Re: Great stage manipulator. Does anyone know who he is?
Thank you very much Tom!!
I was searching years before the internet for this magician!
I think his skill is extraordinary and his style is minimal and very elegant. Rare qualities to be found to magicians, they are too flashy. And this is the best billiard ball routine I have ever see. I think he doesn't use any shell.

Looks like he may not have placed at FISM until 1982.
Genii August 1979 lists him competing at FISM that year (with the misspelt name). Genii August 1982 reports, with his correct name, that he won third place in manipulation.
