Ring & Rubberband

Postby Jeff Eline » February 24th, 2006, 3:53 pm

A year or so ago, I studies a Ring & Rubberband trick but I can't remember where I learned it. I seemed to remember that it was a bonus trick, added to another trick bought.

Any ideas? If you name one, it might jog my failing memory. Thanks.

How about Simon Aronson's Ringleader from Try The Impossible

Thanks ecphora, that's exactly it. It's in the Postscript section of Try the Impossible. I guess that's why I thought it was a bonus effect.

Again, thank you.

There's a good video of Simon doing it on his website here. It looks great in his hands.

Jeff,

If you liked that one, you might also want to check out the marketed effect "Pinnacle" . Similar, but with a few more phases. Looks really good.

It does, too. I have that book, andI've never put in the work to learn it, but it looks like I should.

Hi Jeff, it could be my effect "The Joining" which I give for free when you purchase something from my website. Or it could be "Rhing Thing" from Vince Mendoza, both are simular.

I purchased "The Joining" when it was released back in 2002. Fine way to spend a fiver, I can promise you that. Great trick, great handling.

And, while I'm on the subject of Jeff Pierce: Jeff's book, "The King Has Left The Building... With Amnesia" has some pretty clever stuff in it, too.

Jeff's "joining" is quite nice and could easily be added as an extra convincing phase to any of the other routines out there.
