I've purchased a lot of unsatisfactory stuff over the years: gimmicks that broke soon after arrival, expensive coin gaff sets that didn't match, books that didn't include promised features or were apparently rough drafts, subscriptions that never got completely fulfilled, etc. However, I have never had a magic manufacturer voluntarily offer a recall for a product long since purchased.
Today, Pattrick P contacted me to offer a replacement case for a mat I bought 2 years ago because he had discovered a flaw in the original design and wanted to make it right. This was offered at no cost to me.
