Sleight Reference

Postby Bob Farmer » November 12th, 2023, 6:55 am

This sleight is usually used for a count down effect. A number is given and the cards counted down to find the selection. It works like this: the selected card is second from the top. The top card is turned face up and as it is squared with the deck a break is taken under the top two cards (the face-up card and the face-down selection).

This double is then injogged for half its length. Cards are pulled off the outjogged deck, turned face up and added to the double. When a stop happens, the face-up cards are squared with the deck and removed leaving the face-down selection on top of the deck.

Any references for this would be appreciated.
