Bendix Bombshell
Bendix Bombshell
Over the years I have had several Bendix Bombshell wallets. Just found an old one in BROWN leather which I've never seen before. All the others I've seen have been black. anyone else have a brown one?

Mine is also black. However, that wallet is obsolete with the introduction of Tony Miller's IDK Wallet.

I met Roy Roth at an early 90's convention. He had several Bendix Bombshells in brown for sale.
Re: Bendix Bombshell
I remembering purchasing an original Bendix Bombshell, after being touted by John Mendoza. I had a black one. I was so disappointed with the quality. Although the description stated it was genuine leather, it did not seem that way to me. It was very stiff and almost vinyl-like. I sold it or gave it away at a local magic club sale years later. It was too bad, as I liked the workings...especially being "palm averse" (something I have brought up to my therapist years ago, but to no avail...sigh)

KHC the IDK wallet is made of real leather and has none of the problems associated with the Bendix Bombshell (which is way too big). The manuscript details several no-palm routines. See:

Tony's IDK wallet is terrific. Bob liked it so much, he wrote a 175-page manuscript of beautifully bammo applications for it.
