Olram Subtlety - 4 as 5 Variation

Postby JHostler » February 18th, 2023, 12:14 pm

I rang up this video at someone's request and thought I might as well share. Plenty of rust on the timing (it's been a while!), and there's not much new here - but the "hitch" has some advantages:

[I suggest lowering the volume; that shrill voice will drive you nuts.]

You can find some Olram False Count in Marlo Magazine (1984), Vol. 5, page 301 and following.

I hope the Marlo Mag reprint rumors are true so I can take a look for less than $200! ;)

Lee purchased the rights from Muriel Marlo. Not sure what has happened to them.

The beginning reminds me a little of Lennart Green’s Mirror Count.

Exactly. As written in Denis Behr's Archive:

"Green's Red OR Black Display", allowing to show a packet of alternating card as either all red or black, kind of Olram extension.
