Paul Wilson Ace Cutting hit the road DVD
Paul Wilson Ace Cutting hit the road DVD
In the Lee Asher Paul Wilson DVD Hit the road. Paul Wilson performs aone hand ace cutting routine at the Magic Castle. He states it is in Vernon Chronicles or Inner Secrets. Can someone please provide a better reference on this great routine. As an alternative what is the move used. Thanks Dick Cook

It's on the VC books as Derrick has pointed out. But as I recall it's not really an ace cutting.
The cards are cut and no aces are there. Then the packets are turned over and aces ARE there.
It's more of a magical effect than an ace cutting routine.

Mr. Wilson's handling of getting into the trick can be found in a back issue of The Crimp. The infomation is mentioned in another topic on this forum...

I saw this on Hit the Road and thought it was the most striking effect on the disc. I looked up volume three of the VC learned what was there. If anyone could let me know wich issue of the Crimp contains the opening used by Paul wilson I would much appreaciate it. I have two methods one from VC, the other useing short cards to approximate Mr. Wilsons method.

In the latest Tom Stone manuscript there's an attempt at duplicating this effect with a much easier handling. Definitely worth a look! It's quite as stunning as the original but it ain't half bad!
When's Tom gonna get a book out with his work in ? He always seems to think along an interesting tangent.
Jamie.
