Old Man Doing an Old Trick

Postby JHostler » January 1st, 2022, 4:39 pm

My quinquennial magic video: Dingle's Bounce Change, a knacky but groovy move that doesn't seem to get much love. Enjoy all 15 seconds, and please forgive the herky-jerky rust...

Happy New Year!

Well done. Also known as Sawa's Hot Potato Change.

While there's precious little in the way of online video and commentary on the Sawa & Dingle variations, I did find a 15-year-old thread (different forum) referencing more recent applications of the basic concept by Homer Liwag and Justin Miller. I viewed the Miller routine yesterday [very late to that ball], but am still eager to see the other three magi "in action." I have no doubt their technique would put mine to absolute shame.

I'll take the compliment only because I chose the worst-possible camera angle and physical position. Otherwise, to paraphrase Ron Burgundy: Flashy flash flash!
