This is a routine that I created to honor my friend David Roth. It combines his idea of using props and some of his most famous lines with my own style. it is my new closing number of my act, and the closest thing to a "Roth" type routine that I have ever created. Still smoothing out the rough edges so it will eventually be perfect, but wanted to share. I hope you enjoy it!!

Re: The Other Hand
What a wonderful gift!
The end was unexpectedly amazing!! ^_^
Thanks a lot for sharing!
By the way, I have a little trunk exactly like that one you showed at the beginning of the video!
It was one of our wedding gift, and I use it to keep my card magic props.

Re: The Other Hand
Michael, this a beautifully constructed and executed homage to David. Bravo!
Re: The Other Hand
Fun stuff. I'm sure David would approve.

Thank you everyone for the nice and supportive comments! When I perform this I can actually hear David's voice reciting his most iconic lines.

Hi. I had taken this video down because it was a work in progress, but here is an updated handling with a slightly different ending. I will take this down again at some point, but I hope you enjoy it.

Re: The Other Hand
For those who have been following this thread, this is likely the final iteration of my routine, The Other Hand, after months of tweaking the patter and hand movements. At this point I don't feel that cutting the patter any further would be contructive. I worked hard to eliminate the "tells", and the laymen I have shown this to were totally fooled.
For those seeing this for the first time, it is a routine developed to honor my friend David Roth. It combines his use of props, and some of his most iconic lines together with my own style and techniques. Thanks to all who have posted comments, they are truely appreciated. Enjoy!
