Hi guys,
i'm looking for credit information for a quartet transposition kind of effect, which was shown to me over 20 years ago by a german friend. He saw it on a trip to the USA, but can't quite remember who showed it to him...
The original version used a half pass instead of the switch i'm using here. Until now I found out that Alfonso performs something quite similar and Lee Asher has a related effect in print (Trey Sheik...). Any other ideas who invented this kind of effect and especially the use of the Loewy palm?

I think the originator is Jerry Sadowitz with "The More Things Change" in the book Alternative Card Magic - 1982

In his site Joncard, Jon Racherbaumer wrote an essay entitled Changing, Rearranging and Exchanging Exchange, posted 9/10/2000.

You're correct, the second part is actually just my handling of John Guastaferro's Quick Pocket which in turn is inspired by Jerry Sadowitz "The More Things Change"...

I tried to look up the Racherbaumer essay, but it seems his site is under construction?! If not, I'm highly interested, maybe you could post a link?

For the first phase, I have to look for but I think it's a combo. It's no really difficult to reconstruct.

I think the first phase comes from V-easy Transpo, explained in Free From Filler by Euan Bingham (2003) but I haven't this book.

If someone can check and confirm, thank in advance.

Denis got it, we checked it: It uses a Veeser Concept, but is otherwise completely different (Elmsley Counts...)

I got the book and Euan's method is the same as one explained in Chesbro's Ultimate Color Separation book published in 1963.

I agree. Very smooth!

If you want to avoid the palm and the add-on transfer, there is a simpler method but again I don't know who created it.
