Hi folks
Here is a new way to do the classic bill switch, using nothing except...the bill you borrow and ....
Of course evrything is motivated when I do it in action.
Of course I move on, I don't stop here proud of me having switching the bill.
Why I wanted you to see that? Because for me it's a new way, but it's more a concept because you can use this technic in a lot of ways. For example imagine asking someone to pick up a card and signed it, you lost it, you pick up from your walet a piece of paper and you ask the spectator to write the name of his card on. "you motivate" the folding and you switch this piecee of paper into his card in a flashing way....just like I switch the bills on the video.... Imagine also the spectator writing something on a piece of paper, let's say a quarter coin, "you motivate again" the folding and you switch this piece of paper into the coin the spectator ask for, again in the same flashing way.
So it's not only a way to do a bill switch without a TT but a way to do a lot of things only by using this technic with nothing except your hands.

That is one beautiful bill switch.
I like that the bill doesn't dip out of sight at any point. The illusion of the bill staying in view the entire time is perfect.

Looks fantastic, about as clean as anyone could hope for. Great work.

I think it's a very nice handling. However, the new bill appears much earlier than many will realize. That is, the new bill appears as a very visual color change of the small packet, rather than during the traditional rotation of the (smaller) packet. That moment is wonderful!

The switch looks great! There's a nice tip-less switch in Jon Lovick's lecture notes, and an exploration of several versions in Jon's as yet unpub;lished "Switch" devoted to the bill switch. (I had a hand editing it.)

I've got to say that the design of the euro makes the switch even more visual -- that big 20!

Jay Marshall has a great tipless bill switch also. It was published in Apocalypse I believe. I don't have the reference of which issue it is in but I've seen him do it a number of times and it looks great.

Jay does the Koslowski switch without the tip. It is in the original book but most ignored it.

Jay's tipless bill switch is a lesson in all magic. It's simple, straightforward, and magical! I have him demonstrating and explaining it on the Greater Magic Video Library "Our Best #3" (Volume 36). --Asrah

Thank you Arthur, your switch puts the hidden bill in position to slide behind a small envelope, as what they think is the folded bill goes in. ;)

Check out David Regal's bill switch in his video More Tricks volume 2. The effect is called Origami Bill.Very visual and you don't fold the bill into 16ths.

Yes! Ron Bauer selected Chosse's switch for "Bar Bill Stunt." A great switch and super tips on presentation and handling in that booklet!

I was enamored with that switch, but I really like Tivoli's switch better. Have been experimenting with it incessently. (Will continue to use Chosse's method, tho.)

My wife teaches French and Spanish here in the USA, and so we have visited Paris 6 times, for anywhere from 4 days to 9 days each time. It is my favorite European city, and we love it each time we come. Where is there magic to see when we come again?

Tivoli's bill switch is very visual and looks great.

Since Matt Field mentioned my book, and D.Conn asked about it, I thought I'd let you know that Andrew Pinard is doing the layout for "Switch" right now, and there is no reason the book can't be out by this summer (although in the world of publishing, you never know). It will be a very large book with over 50 bill switch routines and over a dozen methods/techniques, in addition to theory, history, interviews, ideas, etc.

Now that I'm done with my plug I would like to set the record straight on a few things. Mike Kozlowski did not invent the $100 bill switch (and he never claimed to--a guy named Vlado did), but Mike did invent the tipless bill switch that most of us are familiar with. Most tipless switches that get mentioned (mine, Jay Marshall's, Paul Chosse's, Jarle Leirpoll's, etc.) are just MINOR variations of Kozlowski's. A thorough history of all this is in the book.
