Both Stewart James multiple volume sets are fantastically fun books to read. There is so much material that while no one would ever be caught dead performing some of it, there's more than enough other material that could be used in performance to make up for it.

Kenneth -- I presume you know that the most recent Stewart James book (actually 3 volumes -- two of text plus an index by Bill Goodwin) was a follow-up to the masive "Stewart James in Print" which is now, ironically, out of print.
