We thought about marketing this when I figured out this version in 1975.
Went nowhere with the idea. Now that I'm back behind a magic counter, old props and standard effects are flooding my aged mind.
It's easy, get a wind up toy and just do it. I'm serious it is a great trick. I'd read through the Ron Bauer private studies pamphlet to see how the trick should be done.
Racherbaumer's big Don Alan book is another source to draw from. I had neither source in the 70's, he said with a toothsome grin.

Does Chompy make house calls? How might we in Chompless villages like NYC obtain a visit with the toothy one?

Jack,
C'mon down to the magic shop in Cocoa Florida and we'll send you home with your own Chompy.
Or you can message me.

PM stuff isn't working on my end. I got Jack set up though.
I realize the method is pretty transparent. There's a reason Don Alan and Ron Bauer did this trick; it gets a great reaction. My choice of method makes for a quick demo at a magic shop counter.

I have a good method for this. Came up with it in the 1970s but never published it.

Richard,
It's a pity you don't have access to some platform that could publish your version.

The very first Chompy is being put on a Greyhound with some salami sammiches. He's being adopted by a good family in NYC.
He comes with directions for Stabbed!
Adoption paperwork can be filled out online. Let me know if you need a link.

Maybe some day I'll print it. It's not the usual.
