Bonsalopes?

Postby erdnasephile » May 7th, 2018, 4:15 pm

All:

Anyone had any real world experience with Bonsalopes?

I was wondering:

1. Are they truly deceptive and secure or do spectators glom onto the gaff?
2. Do they still seal well in humid environments?
3. Do they stay sealed over time? I've had spectators want to keep the envelope and I'd rather not have the mystery unravel at home.
4. When used with a LePaul wallet, what's the best way to seal the envelope? I'm having trouble picturing how the flap gets closed deceptively as you are removing the envelope by itself from the zippered compartment. In thinking about this, it sounds like I may need a couple of other items in that compartment (ala Francis Carlyle) to cover the closing of the flap.
5. Any particular size you'd recommend for use with the LePaul wallet?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I use them all the time and yes they stay sealed. I also supply them with my Confabulation routine and use the largest size for that as it is supposed to be an envelope that came in the post.
Don't know about humidity but can't see a problem.
Why on earth would the spectator want to keep the envelope? Unless you are using Jon Allen's idea from his book in which case they will most likely open it sooner rather than later, anyway.
As for 4. Press closed and that's it.
