Greetings

Yeah, I guess it is; and sorry about that but the URL seems to be bugged so please - if you are interested - use http://bit.ly/IntercessorMap and don't forget to ask for the member password via PM.

Cheers.

How casually can one make that tear? Can it look like you clamp down with your thumb and tear the top card off the top of the pack in one pulling action?

Puzzled by the "map" idea as facebook and webcams make geography virtual.

Jonathan, I use an Intercessor. With practice it can be done casually, but with intent. (Hope that makes sense.) I think more key is to construct a situation where it seems natural to tear a card while holding it on top of the deck. That is, not at a table where any normal person would probably put the deck down before tearing.

Gaetan Bloom is a genius. But - I prefer Josh Jay's CORNERED routine.

It gives the same effect as Bloom's 'Intercessor' gimmick (ie the spectator can tear off the corner). But it is done with a dollar bill. And is done with abosulutely no gimmicks.

Really clever thinking.

For some reason this amazing trick has being overlooked.
