Calling all cards; references ?

Hi all,

I am searching references about a routine I saw performed by Fred Kaps where the pack of cards is divided in three packets and handed to as many spectators who fan their packets in front of them then Mr. Kaps calls the cards one after each other but always point out to correct spectator when calling a card. It is very similar to a century old memory demonstration but with the extra effect of apparently knowing (or guessing) who hold each card.

I just reread the last chapter of "Encyclopedia of Card's Tricks" and did not find it nor I remember it being mentioned in "Memotechnika".
