Need Help or Instructions

Postby Rennie » December 8th, 2015, 11:10 pm

Going through one of my boxes I came across an envelope containing a number of cards and one DF ace. The writing on the envelope says, John Fedko Ultimate Aces.
Any help on this, there are no instructions.
Thanks,
Rennie

Hi Rennie,

This might not help much, but I found a description of Walt Lee's Ultimate Aces in Lewis Ganson's book "The Immaculate Card Magic of Walt Lees". The description states:

5 Ultimate Aces: Four Blue-Backed Aces are placed in a row on the table. Three Red-Backed indifferent cards are placed on each. One at a time, the Aces vanish from their packets and arrive in the fourth. Each ace vanishes Singly, and the aces arrive in the last packet One at a Time.

I don't have the book so I don't know if Walt's version used a DF card, but this might at least be a start.

Doug

Hi Doug,
I checked the cards in the packet and there are no red back. There are 18 blue back cards (including the 4 aces) and 1 D/F Ace. Having a tough time with this one.
Thanks for trying though, I do appreciate that,
Rennie

Rennie,

It would seem that Fedko's Ultimate Aces uses the same gaffs as Brother John Hamman's Final Aces.

I make that assumption from reading the table of contents of Fedko's book Magic Classics II, which can be seen here.

Final Aces uses double-enders, so take another look at those cards.

Anyhow, you can purchase a copy of the instructions here.
