Slippery fingers

As I've gotten older (past 65), my fingers have lost the slight tackiness that lets me do various deals and slights. It's not unusual to have my thumb just slide across the top card trying to deal it. I've tried SortKwik, but with little success. Has anyone else run across this problem, and, more to the point, do you have a solution? Many thanks.

Larry Jennings used Chamberlain's Golden Touch Lotion. It's a mixture of glycerin and various other things. I think Ed Marlo also used it.

I've been using something called Magician's Choice Emerald Formula - something I came across at a couple of local Chicago magic shops but I've seen for sale at several online shops too. About $9-$10 for a 2 oz. bottle but a very little goes a long way.

I use Eidon Silica & MSM Moisturizing Lotion which also has glycerin as one of it's main ingredients.

I also keep an open container of Sortkwik in my pocket for effects where I deal seconds.

I've used Golden Touch for years to help with dry hands. Now that I work at a hospital and use Purell and wash countless times a day, dry is an understatement. I'll look at the other suggestions, but topping GT will be tough. I believe J. C. Wagner and Frank Garcia are a couple of others that used Golden Touch.

You might try using O'Keeffe's Working Hands. I prefer to use it over Golden Touch. In fact, I sometimes use them both at the same time.

I stick it in a small bottle and put just a little on just before performance. Not greasy.
