Music for Immaculate Connection

Postby MagicJB » March 6th, 2011, 2:18 pm

Does anyone know the music which Copperfield use for his performance of Paul Harris's Immaculate Connection? Can't find it anywhere. Such a wonderful piece and perfect for the effect. Thanks...

I don't know the music he used for that and it may be difficult to find what it was.

Back then Copperfield had a musical director (George Wyle) and much of it was specially arranged. For example his Tower Illusion was a Kenny Loggins' song that they changed to an instrumental. His Floating Ferrari was a rearranged version of Brand New Day from The Wiz. There were a few exceptions like Barry Manilow and Frank Sinatra music that was used as is. Unlike today where you can hear his music and find the exact selection as he used, back then while you may have recognized the music, you would never find it because it was written and recorded for him.

I watched that clip on YouTube and to me it sounded like it was a George Wyle arrangement.
