Men's Journal cards

Postby amp » January 28th, 2010, 6:34 am

This month's Men's Journal has Mel Gibson on the cover. He is holding in his right hand the ace of spades and in his left hand the nine of hearts and eight of clubs.
Here's the the trick : You have a joker. Hand it to a person and tell them to stick it into the deck .You do Bill Simon's business card prophesy for the 8 and 9 then you remove the joker and T.C. for the A.S. then show the magazine cover with good old Mel holding the cards.

I guess I'm staring to collect these magazines with famous people holding playing cards. Last year was Oprah holding the Ace of Hearts.
The February 2009 issue of Oprah.

Is there a handling of the Prophesy Turnover where you slip the bottom card? That way you can flash the bottom (or not worry about folks seeing it) and have it stay the same after the action.

A DT early on can show the top card as indifferent.
But that bottom card is so easy to flash.

There are handlings of the Business Card Prophecy sleight that don't flash the bottom card.

I look in Knack Magic Tricks but there was nothing about business card prophecy. However there is other great magic in it . ( Another plug )
