Barbers, Walking and Morgans

Postby Dmatthew » May 1st, 2008, 3:18 pm

I have recently found some coins in a local coin shop for a reasonable price and was wondering how difficult it would be to obtain flippers and shells for the coins if I were to buy them from the coin shop and then get the shells from Lassen.
Any thoughts?
Thanks, DM.

Todd's easy enough to talk to - though the subtle aspects of the coin condition and toning and imbedded dirt/tarnish are not so easy to match without the coins on hand - are you planning to send him a batch to work from?

I had thought about it but I'm thinking now that I might as well just go ahead and order some from him because I bet all together I wont save that much and it will be well worth it!

Just order what you need from Todd. You won't be disappointed. The overall quality of your props will be better and you get them faster. I expect you are right that you won't realize any significant savings -- just a lot of extra hassle and wait.

Yeah, that's my final decision. I know his work is excellent and I'd rather give him the money anyway!
