Billy McComb Reference request please
All: Billy McComb published a credit card to wallet transposition routine years ago in Genii. I tried searching the Genii database and the Conjuring Archive, but no joy. (I found a reference to a magic book on magic with credit cards, but not the Genii reference) Does anyone happen to have the reference handy please? Many thanks!

I don't have access to my library right now but that trick may be in 25 Years Wiser or one of Billy's lecture notes.
From memory Ted Lesley also published something along those lines
Edit: I think Ted's version was when the credit card appears between the layers of a playing card.

In The Linking Ring, Vol. 60, No. 3, March 1980, page 128, Bill Helyer speaks about "An impossible credit card transposition" BUT there are no explainations.
In Genii, Vol. 51, No. 2, August 1987, page 95, there is "The World's Fastest Transposition" of a bill BUT is more a travel than a transposition.
In Best of Friends, Vol. 3, there is "Restored Card to Wallet" which is a transpo between a credit card and a card BUT this is from Mike Ammar and Gary Plants.
In New Pentagram, Phil Goldstein/Maven quoted McComb for the use of a credit card BUT give no reference.
Finally, perhaps it's is this book "Homb From Homb with McComb" BUT I haven't this book...

It's a marketed trick from 1985 entitled Credit-Card Card Trick. You find it in Lybrary.com

Re: Billy McComb Reference request please
Billy McComb published a fantastic any-card rises trick with a new kind of trick deck. I had the opportunity of discussing this with Billy. It's a great method, any card. A closed circle of thread runs through one end of the entire deck. I've never been able to find the published version.

Hi, Philippe:
Thanks so much! That is the McComb idea I was looking for (although since I have never read Magicgram until today, I'm 99% positive he republished the idea in Genii somewhere...)
Thanks again!

Perhaps you saw it in Genii, Vol. 51, No. 12, page 7 because there is an ad for his video McComb's Magic by Stevens Magic Emporium ?

Re: Billy McComb Reference request please
Hi Philippe: Sadly, I don't think that's it. I remember reading an actual write-up for his routine...

Otherwise, you have a Rick Johnsson's version in his book Practical Impossibilities entitled Repro 74, page 37
