Your next Tenyo puchases

All right, the 2016 Tenyo are almost here. And I imagine that's going to drum up a lot of conversation for a while. So, to try and fill in a bit of a gap; what are your 'next-in-line' for Tenyo?

Right now, I'm saving up for just 3:

Ghost Camera
Shrinking Pen
China Surprise

I MIGHT get The other 3 2016 Tenyo, but I have a few questions for each one before I can move forward with their purchase.

The method is obvious to almost anyone. The trick was designed for Asian audiences: when you insert the tissue into your hand, with the ends gathered, it looks like a dumpling. No western person will recognize that. The trick is Kawaii.

It is also used with a play on words that will only work in Japanese.
_Shumai_, the Japanese word for this type of dumpling, versus the word _oshimai_, makes it a cheap closing effect. Definitely not for me.

That is neat with the play on words. There are some other Tenyo that utilize a play on words that I find fascinating.

All right. I'll hold off on China Surprise. But I need more Tenyo I can use a handkerchief with. I don't know, I guess Mysterious Dog House would be my next go to? Seems like you could cover up the opening with a handkerchief and be all right. The only question i have about Dog House that has me hung up in getting it is if it has any fragility issues.

Why would you cover Mysterious Doghouse with a hanky? You need to put the lid on to provide a covering sound.

The mechanism locks sufficiently for brief inspection, but it's not a prop you would hand out.

I did not know that a sound needed to be covered. Still like it, but I'll get it way later down the road.

Does Ghost Camera need to stay folded into quarters? Or can you fold it into, say, a pocket square?

It can be folded any way you like, but must be folded into quarters at the time you want to perform the trick.
