Tenyo Display Case and/or Performance Prop

Postby Tom Leyland » March 11th, 2013, 8:10 pm

Hi guys,

Would like to get your opinions on this:

It's an Oakley Sunglass case but sort of reminds me of a water torture cell or other pad-locked looking apparatus. The Oakley logo could easily be covered and lighting could be added to really showcase your most treasured Tenyo trick(s). Of course it could be used a thousand ways in various performance presentations as well.

What do you think?

Love it, but I don't think it would hold enough.

16" tall x 12-3/4" wide

But, I bet a creative inventor could figure out a way to fashion an effect out of it.

Plus, for $340 (current bid) you could buy some nice Tenyo.

mmm...I think as Richard stated it's too small. If you like those industrial looks, why not look for an old steel cabinet from a hospital or pharmacy like for example here:

Like the Oakley one for the brushed aluminum looks like magic prop as it is "already sold now". The hospital cabinets are much more practical for a display case lots more room especially the double wide one with the lights. :)

They make the Oakley cases in different sizes:

This would be ideal for smaller Tenyo items and would work great.
