Magicpetger: I just did Lubor's Flying Carpet for a few people this weekend and they were really freaked out. Why is it one of your least favorite Tenyo items?
And, just a note on the Chroma-Depth glasses used for Flying Carpet. You can buy much higher quality Chroma-Depth glasses than the ones which Tenyo supplies. These have actual plastic frames like regular glasses and much finer lenses which enhance the illusion greatly.

Hi Richard,
I don't have the impression that I'm watching a magic trick when I see someone perform this, not did anybody I showed it to. It looks too much as a scientific experiment to most people. What I love about magic is that we can fool spectators and make something look mysterious...this doesn't look mysterious at all to me.

Re: Favourite Tenyo
Have you tried altering your presentation? Yes, it is obviously some sort of optical illusion. The spectators know that because of the glasses. However, in my experience of demonstrating it for people, they seem to forget about the glasses after about 30 seconds when they see the carpet floating--that's before I stand on it and slide the black cloth around. There is always an expression of surprise or puzzlement on their faces.
Of course, no trick (except, perhaps, "Crystal Cleaver") is perfect, or perfect for everyone. Maybe this one just happens to fit my personality when presenting.

To be honest...I gave it up after 2 times...but probably this trick just doesn't fit my personality And when you don't like a trick yourself, how can you transfer it to your audience
