Looking for the Tenyo Magic Puzzle Bank

Postby MagicMustache » September 13th, 2019, 8:07 pm

Hello,
I am looking for the Tenyo Magic Puzzle Bank. I think this was a Japan only release. Not sure of the year. The description reads " Basically it appears that in order to get a coin in the bank the holes in the plastic plates must line up. Your spectator will try to do this but will not be able to. You can get a coin in though because you know the secret." http://tenyo-magic.blogspot.com/2013/11 ... -bank.html has pictures.
Take care...Bruce

I've never seen this. It will be extremely difficult to find in the US. Look in Japan.

I thought you ended up acquiring one of everything when you were writing the big Tenyo Book.

On a related note, there's currently a brand new original Tenyo Dracula Bank from 1993 (created by Mark Setteducati) available on U.S. eBay.

It's a fun and fantastic optical illusion, and I think is does not pop up very often.

By chance it turned out that I saw during my last holidays in Osaka, two months ago, the following thing in the japan well known department store "Biccamera":

It's not exactly the same gadget, but the effect looks alike?
