Brit Lit
For those interested, Derren Brown's Confessions of a Conjuror is handily available at amazon.co.uk, the hardback for 56% off the cover price. (18.99 down to 8.36 pounds). Postage is free in England and quite reasonable to the U.S. It's on its way to me, as of last night, for just over $25 total. Or you can skip the postage and order the kindle version.

I started reading this in a bookshop and before I knew it, I'd read half of it and completely forgotten where I was. A great book with an original, random but readable narrative with all of the streams of consciousness emanating from a single performance - I'd say even better than his previous book for the public, "Tricks of the mind" - with alot of thoughts you'll find yourself relating to. Cracking stuff!
Re: Brit Lit
I read it in a day. Great stuff. Only people I have seen not enjoying it are the silly children that seem to frequent magic forums that wanted it to teach them tricks.

Must be intersting to listen to an audiobook expecting to learn tricks.
Mundus vult decipi -per Caleb Carr's story Killing Time
Re: Brit Lit
It's a regular book too. I imagine dem yout' thought as it was a book by a magician there may be some tricks in there.
