PANMAGIUM JUNE COLUMN

Postby Jonathan Pendragon » June 7th, 2017, 11:04 pm

"I am getting better."

Richard called my column a sad story and yes, it's sad, but I am getting better (maybe not the best sub-reference to evoke). I love my home in Vermont. My Alaskan Malamute puppy, Oberon, is six months and 60 pounds and the star of my next column... a happier story with insight into illusion design and performance realization and inspiration in general.

I think it's more of a sad chapter in a story which hasn't ended yet. You are still with us, making art, teaching, writing. Spider Robinson said "Shared pain lessens, shared joy increases." I'm looking for a happy ending (and hoping that ending doesn't come for a long time).

"I am not dead yet....... I am getting better." I just realized not everyone got my monty python reference, the guy who keeps getting better before he is bonked on the head...... again.
