Kostya Kimlat Genii Article?

Postby Sam Kesler » December 30th, 2005, 8:50 am

Kostya Kimlat, a terrific rising star cardician from Florida will be performing and lecturing at the Magic Castle January 2 - 8 and lecturing at the Magic Apple on January 5. I'm a big fan and loved his lecture notes and CD-ROM, and look forward to meeting him. Don't miss him.

p.s. Richard how about sending Dustin to the Castle for an article on Kostya and Pete to take some photos? I'd love to see Kostya featured in an upcoming issue of Genii.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Kostya is on the cover of the January issue of ... MAGIC.
But you will see a great color change from him in an issue of Genii soon.

Dang it, John, I'm jealous. Who else will be there and (pardon my ignorance) share more info about it if you can.

Hi Sam,

As well as Kostya, Lee Asher, Tyler Wilson, Andy Gladwin and Jack Parker will be appearing.

However, I believe it is sold out.

WE are going to have an all Jack Parker "Magicana" in Genii in the first half of 2006. His card stuff is ingenious. I'm very pleased he consented to allow Genii to publish so many of his items at once.

Jack Parker's stuff is diabolical. Keep an eye out for that issue.

Hey Guys,
I second Tommy's comments, Jack's brain works like no one else I know. He can create so much from so little, it's scary.

I had watched several of his online videos and I was a little disappointed to see several which I thought were obviously "Webcam-Only" routines, but boy was I WRONG! I met up with him at the TSD convention last year in Atlanta at which point he blew me away performing the very same routines in person, and they looked BETTER than the webcam versions. The methods he used were completely different than what I had assumed, they were fresh, incredibly creative, and actually worked!

Do NOT miss Jack's one-man issue of Magicana, you won't be sorry.

Tyler Wilson
