Verne G.'s Con

Postby JHostler » June 20th, 2021, 11:45 am

I’m ecstatic to see “Verne G.’s Con” in July's Magicana – thanks JF!! The original write-up credited inspiration and mechanics to online conversations with Tomas Blomberg (touching on approaches ranging from Curry’s Power of Thought to Ackerman’s Finally Matched) and an old palindromic alignment principle popularized by Eddie Joseph’s Staggered… so I thought that should be “out there” for the credit police. VGC ultimately served as an exercise in getting mileage from a cyclical stack – though it really didn’t start that way. [Devolution???]

For those interested in such minutia: scripting, the key glimpse, and stack flexibility received slightly different/lengthier treatment in an 8-effect ebook entitled “Of Treasure and Tribbles” – still available free of charge directly from me... on request only… for cool cats only. ;)

Cheers,

John
