In the September 2015 Genii in the Magicana video supplement, Andi Gladwyn recommends seeking out the review of JK Hartmans Card Craft by Michael Weber from Magic mag. in that there is currently no searchable index? I'm hoping that someone could point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Card Craft was written by JK Hartman, and I published it. Sometime in the mid to late 1980s.

Just Google "Card Craft Hartman" and see what comes up.

As a little postscript to this thread, coincidentally, just happened to order Card Dodgery by Hartman yesterday morning, and I am excited. He has flown under the radar for years, and deserves a lot of credit for his work.. I understand that Card Dodgery has very good illustrations by Tom Dunn (Previous illustrator was Joseph K. Schmidt, who was, of course, excellent!) I would be interested to hear from anyone who has Card Dodgery, their comments, and what their favorite routines and moves from it are.

If anyone has a copy of Card Craft in good condition that they are willing to part with then please let me know.

Cheers

Andrew

Go to September 2012 issue of littleegyptmagic.com for Card Dodgery notes.

With all due respect, while Mr. Hartman eschews private disclosures about himself, IMHO the phrase "flying under the radar" may not be quite accurate. His material is well known for it's high quality, some of his original sleights are standards, and he is extraordinarily well published over many years.

I agree.
