I saw this trick revealed in Genii Feb. 09 issue. I'm having a problem figuring something out and hoping that you guys can help me. The trick involves putting a silver-dollar sized piece of balloon into the nose of a balloon. It then falls inside the balloon and mimicks something being inside. Problem I'm having is static electricity is causing the small piece of balloon to stick the wall of the balloon. This problem isn't addressed in the article, so I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem with a reasonable solution. Thanks.

You need to either put a tiny bit of baby powder into the balloon, or discharge the static electricity.

Th Ballon bank night was the first trick that came to mind when someone in another thread was saying magazine tricks aren't commercial. I tried it out a couple times and it went over well. Because I haven't worked out a presentation for it, I havent done it at a payed gig as of yet.

I used to powder the piece lightly when I did a similar set up for a mark jenest effect. Now I have a different issue...

Are there non-latex balloons?... google yields nothing that I have found

you can get them, but there not great.
