Riffing off the other thread asking about the favorite issue of the year I thought I'd propose one discussing the best, or people's favorite, trick published in either Magicana or alongside one of the profiles. Anyone have one?

The DelGaudio Shuffle by Derek DelGaudio was great.
Conversion by Donald Orbit was nice.
The Appearing Sharpie by Cameron Francis was good.
Re-Clipped by Jeff Prace was great.

Those were my four favorite.

Technically, Donald Orbit's "Conversion" is ineligible, since it appeared in the January 2009 issue, but you have excellent taste.

Ed Marlo's Cozy Card To Case. It requires very little skill (which makes it perfect for me) and the reactions are great.

I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to Magicana in 2008. Once again, it was a Who's Who of magical ingenuity from around the world, united in the common cause of enlarging and enriching the bank of miracles from which we draw our personal and professional lifeblood. (I've been reading a lot of Jon Racherbaumer lately)

ALLAN ACKERMAN GIACOMO BERTINI TOMAS BLOMBERG STPHANE BOURGOIN BILL CUSHMAN DEREK DelGAUDIO SHIV DUGGAL CAMERON FRANCIS DANIEL GARCIA J.K. I too would like to thank all the contributor's to Genii for giving their magic to us in Genii instead of an instant download or overpriced one trick DVD. Also David for talking them into it and writing clear descriptions.

Well, I loved contributing to the magazine, and hope to get some more things published there later. I hope everyone enjoys my effect, Re-Clipped. And I can't thank David Regal enough for doing such a great job writing it up and taking all of the pictures.

It's in the October 2008 issue.
