I did some research, here's the best deal I found.

Round-trip from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to The Florida Hotel & Conference Center (booked in advance) = $27.90 per human age 12 and over.

(Children 3 and under, free...4 - 11, less than older humans.)

I also did some searching, and found an even better deal!
There's public transport that will take to from MCO to the Florida Mall bus stop for all of $2 each way.

Located in Terminal A, on the Ground Transportation Level (Level 1), at Commercial Lane spaces A38-A41

Florida Mall/SeaWorld (Approximately 45 minutes)
Lynx bus 111 departs at 5:30 to 23:13

Basically, you have to get on the Lynx bus 111 at the airport and get off at the Florida Mall stop. You pay $2 when you get in (could be cash only, so remember to carry a few bucks). During some hours of the day this bus departs every half an hour, but other times it only departs once every hour. Check your arrival time.

Using the same Mears Transportation site as Doug,

looks like a taxi would be about $32 one way.

Uber estimate is $14-$20 one way.

My Delta flight is due into MCO at 10:40am on Wednesday. Anyone arriving around that time who'd like to share a ride to the hotel?

There are no Uber pickups at the Orlando International Airport (MCO).
You can take Uber TO the airport, however.

John, what time do you land? I drop down at MCO 3:45pm. Ride share?

I'm arriving at almost Midnight night before and then transferring to hotel in the AM.

I'm scheduled to arrive at 6:13 a.m. on Wednesday via Jet Blue from Salt Lake City. Anyone else heading to the hotel around then?

Apologies for this off-topic post, but I could use some advice.
I was going to book a Mears ride to the airport on the 5th, after the convention.
My flight leaves for Chicago at 6:20 AM but their website insists on setting a pickup time of 3:20 AM.
Is Orlando airport that crowded early Monday mornings? Am I naive to think leaving the hotel at 5 AM would do.

Leaving the hotel at 5 for a 6:20 flight seems a bit tricky.
Maybe 4 - 4:30 is more reasonable.

That's a little more reasonable. I'll reserve my return ride after I arrive at the hotel.

This is standard in the United States, and you should get picked up at the time stated.
You should always be at the airport at least 2 hours before your scheduled flight.

I took Lynx Bus 42 from the airport this morning for $2. Took about 30 minutes to get to the mall. Bus 111 should about the same. Thanks for posting the information about the bus option. It was really easy to use!
