The Session Convention 2014

For those poor, unfortunate souls who missed this convention, I've been blogging about it:

Part 1: Zach Mueller
Part 2: John Carey
Part 3: Bizau Cristian
Part 4: Hector Chadwick
Part 5: John Guastaferro
Part 6: Bebel
Part 7: Saturday Night Events
Part 8: Joe Barry
Part 9: Ben Train
Part 10: Father Alex
Part 11: Iain Sharkey

I've almost covered every event, the last few posts on the convention will go live this week. As you can probably tell, this is my favourite convention in the UK, closely followed by Ron's Day/International Magic Convention. Both are a welcome antidote to the horror that is The Blackpool Magic Convention! ;)

I hope some people find this useful. It really is a great weekend of magic.

Thanks Marty for posting these. While I was at The Session, I didn't get to see everything, and your posts remind me of what I did see but had forgotten.

Reports like these generally don't mean too much at the time but will be a great resource for future historians.

Yes, I think you're right. The main reason I've written these posts is to remind myself of what I saw at the convention. I also did this for a few friends who couldn't make it to the convention this year. I'm glad some people are reading the articles and are finding them useful.

Part 15 is now live by the way.

Thanks for posting. I've always been curious about The Session and this year almost managed to go, but it didn't work out. So it's interesting to read about what actually went on. Maybe next year...

Hi Edwin,

I'm glad you've found the posts useful. It really is a great convention and because it is smaller than other events, you're able to be more sociable. I look forward to meeting you there next year ;).

All the best,

Marty
