Five years after releasing his first Finger Fitness DVD, Mr. Irwin is back with his latest finger flicking workout. Gee, it seems like only yesterday that I reviewed his first DVD.
Once again, the production values of this DVD are modest, but the video resolution and audio fidelity are good. Menu navigation is a snap.
The DVD begins with endorsements and advice from Meg, the certified hand therapist. Mr. Irwin is next, wearing shiny gloves, one yellow, one blue. He treats us to another of his hallucinatory finger ballets. Its not simply amazing, its complexly amazing.
Our host makes some introductory remarks and discusses the outline of the workout. We begin with warm-up exercises that include massaging, finger fans, air piano and the wave. Then the workout begins. Family refers to the many variations of a given move.
Routine of Four [moves]
Break for a talking head shot moment.
Routine of Seven
So, you get everything that you get on his first DVD, plus a number of new moves and combinations. If its not too late, forget about his first DVD. If youre interested in this type of material, this is the DVD to buy.
Now that Ive convinced you to avoid the first DVD, heres a link to a clip of Mr. Irwin in action. It contains his finger ballet from the first disc. Enjoy.
It's not magic, but for what it is, I highly recommended it.
