Chris Philpott is an award-winning screenwriter and director. He’s best known for his 100th Monkey Principle. Chris has created and scripted effects for Derren Brown, Justin Willman, Steve Valentine and two America’s Got Talent finalists.
Chris will be teaching a number of mentalist and magic effects from his arsenal of best-selling effects and books, including 100th Monkey Principle, Intimate Mysteries and Narcissus. He will also teach new effects and his variations on some classics.
Spellcaster: The cleanest spelling trick ever!
Emotional Reaction: Chris’s re-scripted variation on the Vernon classic.
Photo of the Kids: You know that photo of your kids you keep in your wallet? A spectator is able to describe it with uncanny accuracy without seeing it!
Unhypnotized: For the first time, an effect guaranteed not only to amaze your spectators, but to make them feel better about themselves.
Identity and Essence: You ask three questions of a spectator which turn out to be more revealing than she suspected, and you have predicted every one!
Intuition: A spectator finds a thought-of card the old-fashioned way – by dowsing!
And much, much more…
“Absolutely brilliant! Your work stands on itself and when that happens… rare.” – Banachek
“To the jaded of us who say ‘It’s all been done,’ or ‘There are no new effects or methods,’ tell that to Chris Philpott.” - Francis Menotti
"The 100th Monkey is not just a method; it's an adventure! You're going to want to run with these simian secrets." -Max Maven
