The San Diego Comic-Con is virtual this year, and they have released their program book as a PDF.
The cover art is by William Stout, who is familiar to magicians from his posters for the LA History Conference and his illustrations for Jim Steinmeyer's Hiding the Elephant.
This year is the hundredth anniversary of Ray Bradbury's birth, and there are several articles about him. Bradbury, too, has a magic connection -- when he saw a performance by Mr. Electrico at age 12, it provided a life of inspiration.
Ray Harryhausen was also born in 1920, and there are articles about him as well. While his connections to conjuring aren't as overt, his work is a magic of its own.

(PPS: If you like EC Comics, there is a large article on them as well as a reprint of a Ray Bradbury story he wrote for EC. It also looks like Taschen, publisher of the Caveney/Steinmeyer/Jay/Daniel magnum opus is publishing a 600 page book, "The History of EC Comics", this fall.)
