An enjoyable and interesting episode centered around magic forwarded to me by a friend living in Japan. I thought it did a good job of tying in some incidental magic and some magic principles (magician's choice and multiple outs) into the plot. The main detective character, based on his mannerisms, is known as the Japanese Columbo (after the Peter Falk detective show from the 70s). And apparently the name of the villain (Nandaimon) is based on Dai Vernon).

You can do your own detective work while you watch this.

With your eyes and mind working overtime trying to follow the plot, the various idiosyncrasies of the characters and their interactions with one another; not to mention following the dialogue on subtitle and periodic ad interruptions;

Can you spot out the various magic props used as well as all the visible magic books, posters, and b&w publicity photos scattered throughout "The Professor's" office and magic dojo?

They even threw in pink elephant for good measure.
