Our (Reel Time Images) last documentary was on science and magic (released in Canada, US/International version is in the works). It focused on scientists using magic as a way of investigating cognition, consciousness and behaviour, not so much on the science of how magic works. That is, it looked more at the contribution magic is making to science, than the contribution science could make to magic. However, not surprisingly, there is overlap between the two subjects.

This recent study on how expectations influence perception might be of interest to some magicians. Especially since it is looking at where people assume the trajectory of a gesture is headed. https://tinyurl.com/y7as53pt
