Happy Holidays All!
I just read the Memoriam article in the January 2021 digital issue of Genii on the sad news of Matthew Field. I didn't know Matt but I remember seeing his name quite often in the forum. I may have even traded responses with him once or twice. I had no idea Matt was from the Bronx and loved Jazz music, two traits I also share. Seems like he lived a good life and contributed to his passions. It was a beautifully written memoriam. Rest in peace Matt.

In Memoriam: Matthew Field
Re: In Memoriam: Matthew Field
This is so sad.
Matthew was always incredibly positive here in the forum, really never a bad word about anybody, and never a bad thought about any given situation.
I didn't know Matthew, but he seemed to be many authors choice of "guest editors" for their publications.
Condolences to all who were close to him.

Matthew was a great guy.
His name was the first thing I would come across at the start of so many of my favourite magic books.
He was an important voice behind the scenes throughout the remarkable run of books that Richard Kaufman has created.
