I was implying to also use Tilt. By the way, wouldn't my way look the same, and have the same drawback of a gaff to get rid of? Also, I'm implying that you match as much as possible the handling of the Vernon. But, for all that, there are plenty of methods today with no gaffs.

The simplicity of Vernon's use of the double-backed card and of his handling are what make it so deceptive.

I read that, after the card trick, Houdini slapped a set of handcuffs on Vernon, and that Vernon was completely stumped.
